Open letter sent, and request for meeting made

We have now formally submitted the Open Letter to the Economic Secretary, John Glen MP together with a list of over one hundred and eighty signatories from front-line debt advisers.

In doing so, we have asked for John Glen and his officials to meet with us and discuss the changes we think are needed to make the scheme work effectively.

We have also sent briefings to MPs in advance of the Financial Services Bill debate in the House of Commons tomorrow.
